Dear Runners, Walkers, and Dashers,
We are postponing the JJTrail Races for at least 30 days.
We will send out an email to all registered runners, walkers, and dashers with links to the following alternatives on our registration site:
1.) Stay in race on new date.
2.) Defer entry to 2021 race date (Sunday 4/11/21).
3.) Convert your race entry to a donation to the trail building effort.
4.) Get a refund.
The organization putting on this event, the John Jay Boosters Club, is a 501(c)3 charity. Together with the John Jay Cross Country and John Jay Track & Field teams, we have been raising money for the completion of the John Jay Community Trail through race proceeds, sponsorships, and donations.
We have already committed significant money to holding the 2020 race — and we fully intend to hold the race when we are permitted to. We would like you to consider this when making your participation decision.
We hope you will continue your phenomenal support of our community race and the ongoing trail building effort.
We appreciate your trust in us to put on a safe and fun race — and to do long-term good for the community in the process. As soon as we have a new race date we will share it with you.

JJTrail Donations are open here: https://runsignup.com/jjtrail/donate.
You can support our volunteer and trail building efforts by purchasing a JJTRAIL VOLUNTEER cap here:
https://runsignup.com/jjtrail/store – we will ship you your cap when they come in!
Hope to see you on the trails soon…
—The JJTrail Committee
PS: Check out our wonderful and generous 2020 trail sponsors here. They help underwrite the costs of the trail and the race — and we couldn’t put on the race without them!
PPS: Thank you to the many runners and families who have volunteered on the trail, at the race, and who donated to the development of the John Jay Community Trail this year and in prior years. All of the labor to build the bridges and boardwalks has been volunteer and all funds used have been donated.
