We will be out there this week and this coming weekend working on the championship bridge! This is the third and last big bridge we will be building for the JJTrail.
RSVP to jjtrailrace@gmail.com to let us know you plan to come out and help.

This past weekend we finished the north and south foundations for the #championshipbridge over the south campus ravine. The digging and “hidden” work are essential yet sometimes endless seeming parts of the building process. The strength and longevity of this bridge (and all of the other structures we build) is directly tied to the many weeks of work underneath the foundations.
THANK YOU to our volunteers!
This crucial foundation work gets us ready for the main 28′ beams to be placed and bolted on in the upcoming days. For that task we will need a big and energetic crew — and it may take place over more than one day.
Fundraising
We are in the midst of our Fall Finish Fundraiser where we are aiming for $4,000 in donations.
We have raised just over half of that amount and are looking to finish with a bang!
Please visit jjtrail.org/donate for information and the link to our secure donations page.
The finish line is coming up and we are in the early stages of planning a grand opening event coinciding with the 3rd Annual John Jay Community Trail Races event on April 19, 2020. If you are interested in sponsoring the 2020 race as a returning or new sponsor, please let us know at jjtrailrace@gmail.com.
Thank you for your continued support of this project over the past 5+ years.
